Passionate Christ follower, wife, teacher, cat lover, chinchilla owner, these are just some of the words to describe Liz Kramer, Cornerstone Christian Academy’s preschool teacher. Liz came to CCA four years ago as a newlywed who was looking for a teaching position where she could express her faith.

At CCA Liz has found not only a place to express her faith, but also a place where she delights in serving and teaching. Liz commented,  “I’ve found my home, my people. This is what I was missing at other schools; being around like-minded people who love each other.”

LIz Kramer is a super-hero of sorts. Her power is the ability to teach kids of all ages. Any given day she educates students ages 4 to 18 years-old. She begins her day way before the first bell as she cares for kids who come early to school. By 8:20 am she’s the preschool teacher. Then by late afternoon she’s guiding 7th - 12th graders in creating the yearbook.

Elizabeth Kramer cannot swim. This small but important fact kept her from becoming a marine biologist. We’re so thankful she studied elementary education instead. As an educator she is able to pursue another of her passions, people. “I am about people. I love people, helping people, being around people and figuring out people.”

Three of Liz’s current favorite things are:

  1. Cats. She readily admits she’s a cat lady.

  2. Bullet Journaling. Bullet journaling is like a day planner with flair. It’s also serves as a journal. Liz has not only enjoyed the creativity of her bullet journal but is also surprised by how the journal is a cool way to pray and reflect.

  3. Hanging out with CCA kids. Liz really, truly, adores spending time and getting to invest in students.
